When the time comes to apply for programmes & courses at an Australian university, NZQA will assess your results and provide an entrance rank called an ATAR. This will be a number between 0.00 and 99.95 with increments of 0.05. An ATAR of 80.00 indicates that you are in the top 20 per cent of your academic age group (approx).
